Hatlo and I are stoked (and yes, nervous) about showing the first version of our new project RIGGED as part of NW New Works this Friday, Saturday & Sunday at On the Boards!
The performers and our design team have worked incredibly hard for the past five months. We hope to see you there. Get your tickets >>
PE|Mo has been selected for the 2013 NW New Works Festival at On the Boards! We are super excited and honored to be part of the 30th year of this incredible festival for new experimental theater, music and dance, taking place Fri – Sun, Jun 7 – 9 & 14 – 16, 2013. Come see a 20-minute excerpt of our new piece RIGGED June 7-9 in OtB’s Studio Theater as well as new works by Pony World Theatre, Claire Thomforde-Garner, and AJA. (Check out the entire line up of the festival here.)
I may not know a winner when I see one, but I sure as hell can spot a loser.

Hatlo and I are currently in the midst of research for PE|Mo’s new work, RIGGED. The Goal: to create and uncompromising performance that pushes the physical limits of the performers. Do you still fight to win when you realize it’s futile? Stay tuned…
“An Inner Place That Has No Place” by THE REAL SHANNON STEWART is going on tour to Philadelphia as part of SCUBA 2013, March 22-23. We’ll also perform in Seattle at Velocity in April. Can’t wait to get back in the studio with Shannon and the awesome dancers.
Tomorrow I will start as part-time Development & Communications Director of Yoga Behind Bars and I am super stoked. I picked up a YBB flyer within two weeks of moving to Seattle and have been involved with YBB as a volunteer since late 2009. So getting to join the team as a staff member feels a little unreal (and pretty dreamy). Reading and learning a lot about incarceration in the US right now, and of course the transformative power of yoga.
